Harpy sketches

I want to draw a big picture since I got my hands on some bristol board. So I suppose you could call this thumbnailing rather then sketching. Or are they the same thing? Similar at least. 

All I know is that scribbles look much more interesting when done with a brush pen. At the very least I feel cooler drawing with one.
